What goop Staffers Are
Wearing (a Lot) Lately

Sponsored by Cotton

In addition to the “How was your weekend?” and “Have you seen the new Selling Sunset/The Politician/Chef’s Table?” questions, most Monday morning conversations between coworkers—at least on the fashion team—revolve around a particularly great dress or cool pair of wide-legs someone’s wearing that day. We miss the IRL intel, so we asked three of goop’s chicest staffers what clothing purchases stand out from the past couple months. Their answers, while unique, all had one thing in common: comfortable, chic, cotton-rich staples—plus a few key accessories sprinkled in.

senior buyer, fashion

“These days, front-of-the-closet real estate is reserved for things that either really pull their weight (shout-out to my Mels) or simply spark some joy—like this strapless dress. I love that it’s done in stretch-infused cotton, which is going to keep me nice and cool at all the outdoor weddings and family gatherings I’ll (hopefully) be going to in 2021. Recently, I’ve been draping this sweater around my shoulders when the sun goes down; in a few months, I’ll layer it over long-sleeve tees and turtlenecks.”

Diana Ryu

chief of staff

“Investing in my wardrobe means more than just timeless silhouettes; it also means purchasing long-lasting fabrics I know will endure a modern life. Mine starts with work and ends with yoga. I also moonlight as the household’s chef, gardener, and therapist. These pieces (a means-business shirtdress, a trusty cotton tee, pants I can pick figs in) help me look and feel my best.”

Renee Rupcich

art director, beauty and wellness

“I wear jeans almost every day, so having a few dependable pairs is key. These RE/DONEs are my favorite and have been for a while. They’re 100 percent cotton, meaning they’re durable while still being soft, and they form to your body the more you wear them. (They’re basically magic.) The rest of the look—flats, a tank, and a sweater—comes together quickly. Oh, and hoops. I love a hoop.”
