When is Amazon Prime Day 2020? – Yelena Mandenberg

Amazon Prime Day

Amazon Prime day 2020 starts tomorrow, October 13th, and lasts until the end of the 14th. Amazon customers have two days to shop deals on the products you’ve always wanted to try.

If you’ve never shopped on Amazon Prime day, here’s how it works:

Is a Prime Subscription Necessary to Shop on Prime Day?

Since it is Prime day, yes, you need to have a Prime membership on Amazon. If you don’t, there is a 30-day free trial for new members, and you can sign up for Amazon Prime here. A subscription is $119 per year after the free trial – and there are discounts for students as well as EBT cardholders/those who receive public assistance. If you have an account, make sure you’re signed in when you shop to take advantage of Prime day deals.

Can I Sign-up for Prime on Amazon Prime day 2020?

Absolutely, just follow the link above to get yourself a Prime account. You will get a free 30-day trial and will be charged for your membership once the trial is up. You can pay upfront for the year, which is $119, or $12.99 per month.

Prime Day 2020 Deals

Every hour starting at midnight on the 13th, Amazon will be releasing new deals. Whether you like electronics or want the best Prime home goods deals of 2020, there’s no shortage of stuff to spend on. If this is your time of year to save on electronics, you can save $150 on an Apple MacBook Air 13-inch ($850 on Prime day), Echo devices, tablets, Fire TVs, doorbells, cameras, and pretty much anything else you can think of. Oh, and Prime members get a free $10 credit to use towards Prime day purchases.

Benefits of a Prime Membership Besides Prime Day Shopping

There’s the free two-day shipping (and sometimes one or same-day shipping!), scheduled shipping day choices, and select deals, to start with. You’ll have access to Amazon Prime video, which opens up a host of award-winning Prime shows and movies. Members get free Amazon Fresh delivery on orders over $50 with plenty of Whole Foods 365 and organic products available. Amazon Prime Now can help you get items delivered within a few hours. Then there are lightning deals which are like Prime day deals, where you can get a huge discount on a few particular items for just a few hours. Prime Wardrobe allows you to try clothes on and return them without a hassle. Amazon has no shortage of ways to please its Prime customers, and for a full rundown of benefits, you can check your Prime account.

We hope you enjoy these products! But keep in mind, Grit Daily might take a small cut of the profit on the items recommended here—but that doesn’t mean we don’t believe in them. We only recommend products that we would buy or use ourselves, so don’t be wary of our suggestions.
